yeah I saw it and gasped, thinking "is this the He Jiankui of biosecurity?" (I really just hope that the authors are bad at writing papers... and not that they had expressed novel pathogen-like proteins in a bacterial chassis but then dropped this info from the paper at the last minute when someone on their team realized it could put them in trouble)
